2026 Reception Visit to Godstone Farm

On Friday 3rd July 2026, our Reception pupils visited Godstone Farm as part of their exciting topic on animals and creatures.

This wonderful visit introduced our class to over 500 animals within a safe and welcoming environment. Embracing the outdoor life enabled our pupils to discover, explore, and get close to animals that they may not often encounter. The children had a fantastic time taking part in a farm walk, pond activities, minibeasts exploration, planting, paddock practice, a self-led dinosaur walk, as well as engaging pig, duck, barn, and sheep talks and activities.

This hands-on outdoor learning experience perfectly reflects our school value of Scholarship, helping our young pupils to develop lively, enquiring minds about the world around them.
