Celebrating Our Book Buddy Event at Norbury Manor Primary School

On Monday 19th October 2026, pupils took part in our wonderful Book Buddy event.

During this initiative, older students were paired up with younger pupils to read together, practise fluency, and build confidence. The event helped our younger children to improve their literacy skills and feel welcomed into the school community, while enabling our older students to develop leadership, responsibility, and empathy.

This event beautifully demonstrated our core school value of Empathy, helping our children to develop the ability to work together with sensitivity to the needs of others.
