2026 Safety Challenge Week
During the week beginning Monday 9th February 2026, Norbury Manor Primary School held an engaging Safety Challenge Week. Our pupils participated in a variety of vital workshops, including online safety sessions, a BBC Live Event, and interactive quizzes. Students also explored chatbots and the 'Talk PANTS' initiative, which empowers them to understand that their bodies belong to them and encourages them to speak to a trusted adult if they ever feel worried.
A special highlight was a return visit from Amanze, the British Go-karting Champion, who visited our Reception class to share his story and demonstrate the importance of specialist safety equipment and clothing. This week beautifully showcased our school value of Community, as we worked together to ensure our children know their behaviour affects the rights of others and that our school remains a safe place to be. By teaching our children to exercise their personal freedoms safely, we continue to help them turn their dreams into reality.
