2025 Year 6 Growing Against Violence Workshop

On Thursday 11th December 2025, our Year 6 pupils participated in the vital Growing Against Violence (GAV) Workshop. As they prepare for their transition to secondary school, this interactive session empowered them with crucial life skills. Children learned refusal techniques, how to spot negative peer pressure, and the importance of making positive choices regarding their safety and friendships.

This workshop perfectly embodies our school value of Peace. By understanding online dangers and learning to identify grooming tactics, we are supporting our commitment "to ensure our children understand how to exercise their rights and personal freedoms safely". We are incredibly proud to see our students developing the confidence to stay safe and independent as they prepare to become leaders of tomorrow.
